Alex Moss Custom Takashi Murakami Piece For JP The Wavy

Rapper JP The Wavy recently worked with Takashi Murakami and to celebrate commissioned celebrity jeweler Alex Moss to make a custom chain and two pendants inspired by the Japanese artist's famous artwork.

Takashi Murakami created a caricature of JP The Wavy for their collaboration on the "LV MURAKAMI" collection with Louis Vuitton. JP The Wavy had it turned into a one-of-one piece by Alex Moss. The main pendant shows a character based on JP The Wavy, featuring hand-crafted details created using a microscope.

The pendant has hand-painted enamel details for the eyes, nostrils, whiskers, and ears, along with a clasp inspired by Mount Fuji. The pendant and chain are adorned with colorful stones, including diamonds, sapphires, topaz, tanzanite, amethyst, rubies, tsavorite, and peridot.
