Louis Vuitton and Timberland have joined forces to bring another hip-hop icon into the realm of high fashion, resulting in a collaboration that puts a fresh spin on the beloved 6-Inch Boot. The collaboration was unveiled on the @skateboard Instagram account, dedicated to showcasing Pharrell's work at Louis Vuitton and its creative inspirations.
The front of the boot's tongue features a laser-engraved Louis Vuitton logo, while the house's signature monogram can be found subtly on the rear of the tongue and the lateral heel along with co-branded hangtags. While the full collection is set to be revealed during Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week on January 16, the sneak peeks have already ignited excitement among fashion enthusiasts.
This collaboration seamlessly aligns with Pharrell's vision for Louis Vuitton, which embraces a bold and streetwise aesthetic. His previous Spring/Summer 2024 show included pieces that effortlessly transitioned from the Parisian runway to the bustling streets of New York City. From his innovative pixelated camo reinterpretation of the iconic Damier pattern to vibrant primary-colored Speedy bags adorned with oversized logos, Pharrell's creative genius shone through. Additionally, Louis Vuitton's range of Timberland-inspired silhouettes, including Pharrell's own Checker Ankle Boot and the Ranger Ankle Boot, further exemplify the brand's commitment to urban style.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
