adidas Originals is releasing a luxurious update to one of its most classic silhouettes, the Samba OG. The shoe is dropping in a sleek, black snakeskin leather iteration as part of its Made in Italy collection. This release follows the recent launch of the crocodile Made in Italy model, highlighting the brand's attention to detail and craftsmanship for the silhouette.

The Samba OG draws inspiration from black patent leather dress shoes and was originally designed as an indoor soccer shoe in the 1950s. However, this updated version is intended to be worn as part of your daily lifestyle. From the upper to the lining, every detail is refined by hand. The upper is made of cordovan leather and features hand-painted finishes to give the shoe its luxurious snakeskin leather touch. The Three Stripes branding is prominently placed in white, paying homage to adidas' roots. The shoe also features black leather heel counters that match the laces, insoles, and rubber outsole.

The adidas Originals Samba OG Made in Italy in the black snakeskin leather iteration will be available via adidas and select retailers for $350 USD on June 7.
