MB&F LM Sequential Flyback Watch

MB&F has unveiled the LM Sequential Flyback, a timepiece that builds upon the features of the 2022 Legacy Machine Sequential EVO. This new edition incorporates a flyback function that enhances its utility for motor racing and aviation purposes.

The LM Sequential EVO, MB&F's first chronograph and 20th caliber, made waves in the chronograph market with its "Twinverter" switch, enabling independent timing, split-second, cumulative, and lap-timer modes. It even won the prestigious GPHG "Aiguille d'Or" award. The LM Sequential Flyback retains these modes and adds the flyback function, originally designed for pilots. With a single press, the chronograph can stop, reset, and restart, making it more convenient for timing purposes.

The watch features a platinum case with a sky blue dial plate and white lacquered dials, embodying the classic Legacy Machine styling. It is powered by a manual winding system, double mainspring, and has a 72-hour power reserve. The dual chronographs can be operated independently or synchronized using the Twinverter switch, providing functionality in various scenarios.

Stephen McDonnell, the mind behind MB&F's LM Perpetual, developed the LM Sequential Flyback. His innovative design includes an internally jeweled vertical clutch system, reducing friction and ensuring precision. The flyback mechanism also incorporates a special jeweled roller, highlighting the technical sophistication of the watch.

The MB&F LM Sequential Flyback Platinum is a limited edition with only 33 examples available. It is available now by request only via MB&F and is priced at 188,000 CHF or $218,000 USD.
