New Balance is set to release the 990v6 in a classic "Triple Black" colorway. The New Balance 990v6 sneaker was initially created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 990 line. It features a material mixture of mesh and suede, a modern-day midsole with a sharply sculpted heel, and a combination of ENCAP and FuelCell cushioning technology.
The "Triple Black" makeup of the New Balance 990v6 is characterized by a monochromatic color scheme and hi-vis reflective detailing on the midfoot, quarter, and trim. The only deviation from the tonal makeup is the red "v6" segment of the "990v6" wordmark on the tongue.
While recent iterations of the 990v6 have featured louder color schemes, such as brown and grey or "Sepia Stone," the "Triple Black" pair complements the classic grey and black/white/grey colorways to complete a classic New Balance trio.
The New Balance 990v6 "Triple Black" will be available for purchase on the New Balance webstore and select stockists for $200 USD in the coming weeks.
