Nike Ja 1 "Chinese New Year" Sneakers

Nike Basketball and Ja Morant are set to release a new iteration of his signature shoe, the Nike Ja 1, in celebration of the Lunar New Year. The shoe, which recently surfaced on Instagram, showcases a clean and minimalist design.

The Nike Ja 1 "Chinese New Year" features a color scheme of white, game royal, and pure platinum. The upper is constructed using a combination of mesh, leather, and ripstop material. Metallic gold accents can be found on the Swooshes, lace dubraes, heel tab, and midfoot, paying homage to the holiday. Ja Morant's signature "TMT" logo is displayed in blue on the lateral heel, while a cool blue tone is seen on the tongue label and under the white mesh upper. The shoe is equipped with a white and blue Air Zoom-cushioned midsole and a blue rubber outsole to complete the design.

The Nike Ja 1 "Chinese New Year" is expected to release on January 22, 2024 via Nike and at select retailers with a retail price of $140 USD.
