JJJJound x New Balance 2002R GORE-TEX Sneakers

JJJJound and New Balance have established a longstanding partnership over the past five years, collaborating on several minimalist and muted sneaker designs. However, they have never before incorporated GORE-TEX into their collaborations. That is about to change with the upcoming release of a JJJJound x New Balance 2002R collaboration featuring the renowned waterproof membrane.

The design of the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R stays true to JJJJound's design ethos of simplicity, functionality, and practicality. The shoe sports a grey and black color scheme, with grey suede on the midfoot, toe cap, and overlays, while black rugged mesh reminiscent of Kevlar is used on the toeboxes, tongues, and collars. The only notable embellishment is the hiking-style bungee laces, adding a touch of flair. A small branded tag on the lateral collar indicates the waterproof construction of the design. The shoe is completed with all-black midsoles and outsoles.
