Nike is set to bring back the iconic Nike Air More Uptempo in the "Olympic" colorway, paying tribute to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. This retro basketball high-top sneaker gained popularity through its association with Scottie Pippen, who wore it during the 1996 Atlanta Games.
The "Olympic" colorway features a striking combination of white, midnight navy, metallic gold, and university red. The upper showcases a patriotic theme, with white "AIR" lettering on top of a navy nubuck upper. The midsole incorporates a mix of white and blue, revealing the visible Air sole units. The heel tab displays Pippen's Olympic jersey number, 8, outlined in gold, while a navy jewel Swoosh adds a finishing touch.
The Nike Air More Uptempo "Olympic" is expected to release in August 2024. It will be available via Nike and select retailers, priced at $170 USD.
