Nike Air Max Plus "Sunset" Sneakers

Nike is embracing nostalgia by reintroducing the iconic 1998 colorway for the Air Max Plus. The highly sought-after "Sunset" colorway, which made a comeback in 2018, is now returning once again in 2024, according to sources.

The inspiration behind the "Sunset" colorway stems from the breathtaking sunsets witnessed on the beaches of Florida. Designer Sean McDowell drew from these stunning natural phenomena to create a visually captivating shoe. The upper features a black TPU overlay that mimics swaying palm trees, while the mesh panels showcase a vibrant orange gradient hue, representing the fading glow of the sun. Adding to the shoe's unique design, the midsole shank takes on an abstract form reminiscent of a whale's tail emerging from the water. To ensure optimal comfort, the Air Max Plus "Sunset" is equipped with Air Max cushioning units.
