Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty Sneakers

Rihanna has once again taken on the role of creative director for the Fenty x Puma collaboration, and she is relaunching a fan-favorite from their previous partnership: the Creeper. The original Fenty x Puma Creeper, which was named Shoe of the Year in 2016, offered a platformed version of Puma's Suede silhouette. The new version, called the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty, takes the original design to the next level.

The Creeper Phatty features an oversized construction with a stacked gum sole and comes in eye-catching colorways such as Black/White, Blue/Green, and Lavender/Cherry Red. The design incorporates nubuck, leather, and mesh materials on the upper, with a rubberized surface. The outsole and midsole are accented with a fluorescent shade of yellow, highlighting the new features of FuelCell and re-engineered ABZORB SBS pods. Reflective details and tonal co-branding on the lateral sides and heel counter add to the overall aesthetic.

Rihanna expressed her excitement about reinventing the beloved Creeper, stating that they wanted to make it "bigger and badder." Maria Valdes, Chief Product Officer at Puma, emphasized the universal appeal of the Creeper and the anticipation for its return. The Creeper Phatty will be available for purchase on November 30 at 10 a.m. ET through Puma's webstore, with sizes available for people of all ages and genders.
