Patta x New Balance Made In UK 991v2 Sneakers

New Balance's collaboration streak continues under its Made in UK umbrella, with the latest partnership featuring streetwear giant Patta and their take on the newly-introduced 991v2 silhouette. Following the shoe's unveiling in a captivating video that traversed England to Italy, the silhouette has already received a rework by Stone Island, and now it is set to make waves with Patta.

The Patta x New Balance collaboration introduces two captivating colorways: "Sea Moss," a blend of dark green and grey, and "Pickle Beet," a delightful combination of dark purple and grey. Both iterations pay homage to the original design while incorporating exciting new elements.

In terms of design, Patta embraces the technical evolution of the classic 991 silhouette by incorporating a mix of nubuck, leather, and mesh on the upper, with a rubberized surface adding a touch of modernity to both versions. The sneakers feature vibrant fluorescent yellow accents on the outsole and midsole, highlighting the new features like FuelCell and re-engineered ABZORB SBS pods.

Reflective details adorn both shoes, adding a dynamic element, while a metallic silver tongue badge and tonal co-branding on the lateral sides and heel counter complete the overall aesthetic.

The Patta x New Balance 991v2 collaboration, fronted by UK rap star Sainté, will be available for purchase starting December 1 at 1 p.m. CEST. Customers can find them on Patta's website, the Patta mobile app, and in-store at Patta locations in Amsterdam, London, and Milan.

It's worth noting that the "Sea Moss" iteration will be exclusively available through Patta, while the "Pickle Beet" colorway will be offered on the New Balance website and select retail stores.
