Balenciaga Cargo Sneaker

During Paris Fashion Week on October 1st, Demna presented Balenciaga's Spring/Summer 2024 collection, marking a true return to form for the brand. The runway show was a theatrical spectacle, featuring family and friends of Demna, creating an intimate and personal atmosphere. Following the successful showcase, Balenciaga has now unveiled its latest release, the Cargo Sneaker, which made its official debut on the runway.

The Cargo Sneaker maintains Balenciaga's signature oversized proportions, potentially surpassing the chunkiness of previous models like the Track Runner and Triple S. The sneaker is constructed with a combination of microfiber and mesh, boasting a color palette of gray, black, and yellow.

What sets this shoe apart is its amplified volumes and reflective accents found on the sole, back, and parts of the upper. The shoe also incorporates subtle worn detailing, giving it a slightly dystopian and futuristic appearance. The tongue and upper feature an embroidered Balenciaga logo, while the sides showcase a 3B sports icon. It's worth noting that the shoe's oversized fit covers two sizes.

Priced at $1,490 USD, Balenciaga's Cargo Sneaker is now available for purchase online. However, this exclusive release is limited to only 1,000 pairs.
