Terell Safadi - "One Last Ride"

Vancouver rapper Terell Safadi is known for emotional music, but his new single “One Last Ride” is his most personal work yet. The song is dedicated to his stepfather Steve Cruickshank, who helped raise him and is now battling ALS.

After his diagnosis, Terell Safadi's stepfather asked him to write a song he could listen to for the rest of his life. Safadi recorded the track while crying, capturing a raw and vulnerable feeling. Unlike his usual high-energy style, “One Last Ride” is quiet, reflective, and focuses on storytelling.

This release also marks a milestone because it is the first time Terell Safadi has officially acted as a producer. He worked with Atom of Ato-Mik to mix hip-hop, pop, and rock styles for the track.

Terell Safadi's latest album, Live Now Die Later, was a hit with over a million streams, but this new song offers a more intimate look at the artist. Outside of music, Terell Safadi has also branched into acting and recently appeared in a commercial.
