Founded by serial entrepreneur Curvel Baptiste, Le Sas Bon has released a new home fragrance called The Allen smoky leather scented candle.
The candle is crafted from coconut soy blended wax. It is inspired by the Miles Davis album Birth of the Cool and designed to fill a space with character. The scent profile evokes the crackle of a record player, the smell of a vintage leather chair, and notes of hibachi charcoal smoke.
Le Sas Bon is a Black-owned brand based in New York City. The name means "a good scent" in Dominican Creole. The brand views scent as a lifestyle and design language, meant to be a daily essential rather than an occasional luxury. Drawing inspiration from NYC neighborhoods and cultural hubs like the Guggenheim, they aim to create scents that ground and move people.
