Los Angeles-based streetwear brand IXXI has debuted a new t-shirt from their religious-focused sub-label Royal Subject.
Founder Dante Guarin was listening to the Wild Style soundtrack, particularly the track “Down By Law” by Fab Five Freddy, when he reflected on the phrase "Down by Law". At this point in his life, he felt the opposite, leading to the design of the t-shirt. The black t-shirt features a graphic with the words "Elevated By Grace" in red and white. Behind this, the phrase "Down By Law" is displayed in a faded white color, with IXXI branding at the bottom.
Royal Subject's "Elevated By Grace" t-shirt is available now in limited quantities exclusively via IXXI's online store for $45 USD.
