Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance Minimus UX200 Sneakers

Nearly a year after images first surfaced online, the Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance Minimus UX200 sneaker is finally set to release this week. The modernized Y2K-inspired trainer was unveiled during Junya Watanabe MAN's Spring/Summer 2025 runway show and features one of New Balance's slimmest silhouettes.

Departing from the bulkier retro styles of recent years, the sneaker features a design that closely follows the contours of the foot. The ultra-thin mixed textile uppers, made from mesh, leather, and synthetic taping, enhance the lightweight feel of the shoe. The toebox sports a distinct triangular cage, accentuated by translucent mesh. The classic lateral "N" logo blends into the upper, while Junya Watanabe MAN wordmarks are displayed on the perforated tongues. On the grip-enhanced midsoles Vibram's signature golden branding is embossed into the arch.

In Japan, the Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance Minimus UX200 sneakers will be available at Junya Watanabe MAN stores starting March 21 for 40,700 JPY (approximately $275 USD). Global release details have yet to be announced, but you can find Junya Watanabe MAN products at select Dover Street Market locations and on their web store.
