Filson x Birkenstock Footwear Collection

Seattle-based Filson has partnered with Birkenstock to introduce their first-ever footwear collection. The range beautifully draws on their rich histories and their mutual commitment to craftsmanship and functional design.

The debut collection features three rustic styles that combine Birkenstock's iconic footbed with Filson's nature-inspired design. The standout model, the London Methow, resembles the classic London silhouette, featuring a tumbled leather upper, a speckled cork sole, and brushed metal loop fastenings. A city-ready version replaces the leather with swathes of suede in rich brown hues that's perfect for urban adventures.

The collection also features two distinct boot styles that offer contrasting aesthetics and functionality. Inspired by Native American footwear, the cozy Lahti is crafted from Mackinaw wool and lined with microfleece, making it perfect for both indoor lounging and outdoor excursions on dry days. The Skykomish on the other hand is built for durability in the harshest conditions, boasting a multi-layered construction that incorporates Filson's signature Tin Cloth, textured rubber, and a soft microfiber lining.

To celebrate the collaboration, Filson is showcasing the new footwear models at its flagship store in Milan. The collection is displayed in the 200 sq. ft space surrounded by wood paneling and Aztec-inspired loom rugs.

The Filson x Birkenstock footwear collection is available now via Filson's webstore, with prices ranging from $375 USD for the London Methow to $625 USD for the Skykomish, and $455 USD for the Lahti.
