Redbreast 18-Year-Old Whiskey

Irish whiskey brand Redbreast has unveiled its latest addition to the family with the Redbreast 18-Year-Old.

Now a permanent fixture in their lineup, the drink offers a unique twist on the classic Redbreast style that aims to bridge the gap between their older and younger offerings. Crafted using a combination of butts and ex-bourbon barrels, the whiskey features a rich profile that includes vanilla sweetness, toasted wood, and dried fruits. It also incorporates blackcurrant and raspberry notes that elevate the overall drinking experience.

Speaking about the new launch, Master Blender David McCabe shared, "This new addition to the Redbreast core range beautifully bridges the gap between our older and younger offerings. We wanted to unlock a new taste profile for the Redbreast permanent range while still offering something that feels distinctly Redbreast in its style. By incorporating the cream sherry casks, we've created a whiskey that boasts a rich profile of dark chocolate, blackcurrants, and hazelnuts. This expression not only honors our heritage but also showcases our commitment to innovation in Irish whiskey making."

The Redbreast 18-Year-Old whiskey will be available starting on October 12 via the brand's website for €225 EUR (approximately $245 USD).
