Piet x Swarovski Capsule Collection

São Paulo, Brazil-based streetwear label Piet has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with Swarovski that draws inspiration from the peeling walls of Brazil.

The unusual theme aims to showcase hidden stories of Brazilian culture in a sophisticated and playful manner. Piet founder and creative director Pedro Andrade emphasizes, "At Piet, we're committed to highlighting Brazilian stories and subcultures globally that, until then, only Brazilians knew. We want to talk about our everyday traditions, things that sometimes we don’t even notice ourselves, but which are intrinsic in our lives."

The capsule collection consists of six pieces decorated with Swarovski crystals integrated into designs inspired by São Paulo's urban textures. From the cross of a peeling saint's painting to asphalt textures on boot toe boxes, each item reflects both the precision of Swarovski and Piet's distinct style.

Pedro Andrade's fascination with the beauty of peeling walls—characterized by layered colors, graffiti, and advertisements—serves as a backdrop for this collaboration. He notes, "It’s an involuntary art, which, despite being made by human beings, has a life of its own. It’s almost organic."

The Piet x Swarovski capsule collection is available now at Piet Flagship Store in São Paulo and online via Piet's online store, with prices ranging from $200 USD to $700 USD.
