Memphis Bleek and Just Blaze have reunited for their first collaboration in almost 20 years.
“Durag Bleek” marks a significant moment for both artists, as Just Blaze has been a pivotal part of Memphis Bleek's career. Just Blaze produced several tracks on Memphis Bleek's previous albums, including the critically acclaimed “Dear Summer,” which was helmed by Jay-Z.
The music video for “Durag Bleek” was directed by Shula The Don and features scenes of the Brooklyn rapper lounging at a mansion in Miami, recording in the studio, and relaxing by the pool. Additionally, the video includes shots of Memphis Bleek sitting in front of a portrait of his mentor, Jay-Z, while surrounded by Ace of Spades champagne and D'Ussé cognac bottles. In the video, Memphis Bleek is also seen in the driveway with luxury cars such as the Lamborghini Urus, Rolls-Royce Ghost, and a Mercedes-Benz.
