Contra Costa County, California rapper Matty Boy drops off an in-studio performance video of his latest single “67 Pounds” featuring Mac Mase.
In the Keith Welch Jr-directed video, Matty Boy spits his bars over the Vidal Garcia & Cozmo-produced beat about the harsh realities of the criminal life, including the importance of having enough money to pay for an attorney if you're involved in illegal activities. In the song, Matty Boy also emphasizes the need to study the laws you might break and to move with purpose, even if you make mistakes along the way.
