Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 Watch

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre recently unveiled a new interpretation of the Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 at the Watches and Wonders trade show. The timepiece features an 18-carat pink gold case and a stunning green enamel dial.

The Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 showcases Jaeger-LeCoultre's mastery of watch complications and artisanal handcrafts. The world-time complication is artistically integrated into the watch, with lacquer work, enameling, and hand-guillochage used to depict a dazzling representation of the globe.

The watch features dauphine-style hour and minute hands with a golden look that complements the warm hue of the pink gold case. At the 6 o'clock position, there is a flying tourbillon that completes a rotation of the dial in 60 seconds. As the tourbillon rotates, the map and city ring also turn to mimic the rotation of the Earth.

The timepiece is powered by the in-house Calibre 948, an automatic-winding movement that offers a power reserve of 48 hours and beats at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 in 18-carat pink gold is released as a limited production of only 20 examples. It comes with an elegant black alligator strap. For more details about the watch's price point and availability, please visit Jaeger-LeCoultre's website.
