Daniel Arsham x Pokémon "Crystalized Seated Pikachu Edition" Sculpture

Renowned artist Daniel Arsham has made an exciting announcement, revealing his final Pokémon release in collaboration with The Pokémon Company. The New York City-based artist took to Instagram to share the news that his last piece, the Crystalized Seated Pikachu Edition, will be available for purchase by the end of the week.

Daniel Arsham's artistic process for this piece involved sculpting it out of clay and then casting it in various materials. In his Instagram post, he also mentioned that versions of this work in Bronze have been shown around the world. The Crystalized Seated Pikachu Edition features Daniel Arsham's signature erosion details and presents the iconic Pikachu in a white color.

Since starting his Pokémon collaboration in 2018, Arsham has expanded his collection to include several beloved characters from the Pokémon world. Through his fictional archeology theme, Arsham has brought Pokémon into a new realm of art. His unique approach has garnered global recognition and praise, as his stone and quartz erosion technique allows him to explore sculptural relics through a contemporary lens.

The Crystalized Seated Pikachu Edition will be available for purchase online via Arsham Editions webstore starting on May 3 at 12 p.m. ET.
