Danner x meanswhile Pittock Gurkha Sandal

Danner and meanswhile have cultivated a successful partnership over the years, crafting technical footwear that blends rugged functionality with style and comfort. Their latest collaboration, the Pittock Gurkha Sandal, continues to uphold this tradition.

The sandal's name pays homage to the historic Pittock Mansion nestled in Portland's West Hills. Once home to publisher Henry Pittock and his wife, Georgiana Burton Pittock, the magnificent French Renaissance-style house played a significant role in transforming Portland from a pioneer town into a thriving industrial city.

Available in black and nume, the sandal's foundation is constructed using cowhide leather, which features a subtle grain texture. The interior boasts supple pigskin leather, known for its abrasion resistance and water absorbency. The sandal is secured by three zig-zag straps that artfully weave and lock together, while the heel proudly displays the co-branded Danner and meanswhile logo.

Made in Japan and set to be released on April 11, the Danner x meanswhile Pittock Gurkha Sandal is now available for pre-order via meanswhile's online store for $297 USD.
