The collaboration highlights Matt Oh's innovative integration of Volecoeur's Purpose-Driven Design principles to revitalize the Pro Thunder model, drawing inspiration from the beloved taro bubble tea.

The design of the Volecoeur x Sneep Crew Pro Thunder "Taro Boba" shoe is inspired by the sensory delight of taro bubble tea. The rich purple hue and tantalizing tapioca pearls of the beverage guided the material selections and color palette for the shoe's design. The upper of the shoe features a luxurious blend of suede and leather, chosen to emulate the velvety texture of taro milk while prioritizing durability and comfort for the wearer. Neoprene accents represent the playful bounce of boba pearls, and strategically placed plastic elements add a contemporary edge, reminiscent of the drink's iconic cup and straw.
