The Weeknd has finally released the music video for his 2023 Madonna and Playboi Carti-assisted single “Popular.”
In the new “Popular” video directed by Cliqua, The Weeknd, Madonna, and Playboi Carti each live it up in their own luxurious spaces without crossing paths. Madonna opens the scene with a whisper, "I've seen the devil down Sunset, in every place, in every face," while The Weeknd serenades from inside a stunning, art-filled mansion. Meanwhile, Playboi Carti, with Nelly-esque Band-Aids on his cheeks, spills his drink near a fancy SUV, adding to the allure of the visuals shot in New York and Atlanta.
