Nike Ja 1 "Bite" Sneakers

The anticipation surrounding Ja Morant's debut signature shoe with Nike reached a boiling point in late 2022, only to be met with a delayed release several months later. Unfortunately, Ja Morant's on-court appearances have been hindered by suspensions and a season-ending shoulder surgery earlier this year. Despite these setbacks, Nike Basketball has capitalized on the momentum generated by the Ja 1 by continuously introducing new iterations.

The latest rendition of the Nike Ja 1 draws inspiration from the Grizzlies' namesake animal, the grizzly bear. Dubbed the "Red Stardust," this version boasts an upper adorned with black Swooshes that converge at the heel. A unique touch is the torn-out portion of the heel, as if it had been devoured by a grizzly bear. Enhancing the shoe's distinctive presentation, a jaw graphic is prominently featured on both the tongue and sockliner. Meanwhile, the midsole sports a generous amount of gray with black speckles to complete the pair.

Although the release plans for this grizzly bear-inspired Ja 1 have yet to be unveiled by Nike Basketball, fans can expect it to hit shelves in the coming months. The sneaker will be available through Nike SNKRS and select retailers, with a price tag of $110 USD.
