Nike Cortez "Forrest Gump" Sneakers

Nike is re-releasing the classic Nike Cortez sneaker, specifically the "Forrest Gump" colorway, for this spring. The Nike Cortez was first launched in 1972 and returned in 2022 for its 50th anniversary. The "Forrest Gump" colorway, which was originally released in 2018, is now slated to return in 2024.

The Nike Cortez "Forrest Gump" features a timeless, crisp white leather base with hints of varsity red, varsity blue, and metallic silver. The red accents can be found on the tongue branding, heel overlay, and Swoosh, while the blue strip is located on the midsole. The white Nike branding is seen on the heel, and the silver lace dubraes complement the heel. The shoe is completed with a waffle rubber outsole.

The Nike Cortez "Forrest Gump" sneaker is set to re-release on May 1 via Nike and select retailers for $110 USD.
