YZY Pods Sock Shoes

As YEEZY season approaches, Kanye West once again takes the spotlight with the impending release of his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign on the album Vultures. Alongside this, the infamous YZY Pods "sock shoe" is now available for pre-order on the YEEZY webstore.

The YZY Pods are offered in a sleek all-black colorway and come in three sizes: size "1" for feet under US 6 or EU 39, size "2" for US 7-9.5 or EU 40-43, and size "3" for US 10-13 or EU 44-47. These minimalist shoes are constructed with a stretchy knit material, resembling a tall crew sock that reaches mid-shin. The thin rubber sole provides comfort and protection for the wearer's foot.

Throughout 2023, Kanye has been frequently spotted wearing various sock-like footwear styles, even opting to go barefoot at times. In May, his company, Mascotte Holdings Inc., applied for a US patent for "sock shoes" featuring leather soles.
