The Armoury x Paulin Modul A "Hong Kong Dial" Watch

The Armoury has unveiled its latest timepiece, the Modul A "Hong Kong Dial" edition, in collaboration with Paulin. This stunning watch is offered in four distinct dial variations and two different band/bracelet styles, showcasing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.

During a visit to Glasgow, the team from The Armoury was captivated by the unreleased 1970s-style C-shaped case of anOrdain and Paulin, which served as the inspiration behind the Hong Kong Dial. This unique design takes a twist on the classic California Dial, incorporating a mix of Roman numerals with Chinese characters at the four, five, eight, and nine positions. This symbolic choice pays homage to The Armoury's profound connection to both Eastern and Western cultures.

The decision to collaborate with Paulin was driven by their unconventional approach to watch design, aligning perfectly with The Armoury's vision. The watch's modular case, encased by a black ring, adds a distinctive aesthetic while accommodating different movement sizes.

With its matte charcoal face, dark gold numerals, and a silver mesh bracelet, the Hong Kong Dial exudes versatility, making it suitable for any occasion. The deliberate choice of a compact 34mm size ensures it can be worn comfortably by anyone, and the option of colored dial variations allows for personalized self-expression.

Opting for a quartz movement, this watch guarantees a slim profile and easy maintenance. The transparent caseback, a departure from traditional stainless steel, showcases the intricate blue and gold design of the ETA 955.112 movement.
