While most Richard Mille timepieces are recognized for their vibrant colors and bold designs, the RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aerodyne breaks away from the norm. This limited-edition wristwatch showcases a monochromatic aesthetic, departing from the brand's usual flamboyance. The stark white version of the watch accentuates the textures of the materials used in its construction, creating a visually captivating timepiece.

The RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aerodyne features a combination of Carbon TPT, Quartz TPT, and titanium. Carbon TPT, commonly used in the automotive and aerospace industries, adds strength and durability to the watch, while Quartz TPT and titanium are employed for the bezel and caseback, respectively. The case is water-resistant up to 50 meters and incorporates 20 spline screws made of grade 5 titanium with abrasion-resistant washers in 316L stainless steel. The tonneau-shaped case measures 42.68 x 50.12 x 14.30 mm. The skeleton display showcases the manual winding tourbillon movement, and oversized Arabic numerals indicate the hours. The power reserve and torque indicators are accented with colors. The movement features a baseplate made of honeycombed Orthorhombic Haynes 214 with Carbon TPT and a black PVD treatment, highlighting its unique construction.
