Nike continues to expand its range of wardrobe essentials by introducing slides into its lineup. This year, Nike has taken inspiration from the iconic Air Max 1 silhouette and transformed it into a stylish slide design. By modifying the upper and seamlessly connecting it to a comfortable foam midsole, the Air Max 1 Slides not only retain the essence of the original shoe but also offer the ease and convenience of a slide.
Next year, sneaker enthusiasts can look forward to the return of these popular slides in the timeless "Royal" colorway. The Nike Air Max 1 Slides feature a clean and classic color palette, combining white, royal blue, black, and neutral grey tones. The white mesh strap is complemented by a grey suede overlay, while royal blue mudguards match the color scheme of the original Air Max 1 sneaker silhouette.
The footbed of the slides is adorned in royal blue, creating a striking contrast against the white midsole, which incorporates Air Max heel units for added comfort. The Air Max tongue labels provide a touch of branding, and the Swoosh symbol is half-embroidered and displayed on both sides of the slide. The slides are completed with a durable rubber outsole, ensuring traction and longevity.
Set to release in the spring of 2024, the Nike Air Max 1 Slide "Royal" will be available at select retailers and online at Nike for $75 USD.
