The "Aunt Pearl" series pays homage to Durant's late Aunt Pearl Williams, who held a special place in his heart. This collection has been a longstanding tradition, with previous releases commemorating his former basketball coach, Kay Yow, who fought against cancer. The upcoming KD 3 features a heartfelt note at the heel, honoring both Aunt Pearl and Coach Yow, while showcasing a range of pink shades across its upper. Completing the look, a semi-translucent outsole and clean white midsole add a touch of sophistication.
