Aries x ROA Hiking Italian Alp "Andreas" Hiking Boot

London-based imprint Aries has teamed up with ROA Hiking for an exciting collaboration, introducing a fresh take on ROA's original Italian Alp "Andreas" hiking boot. Aries has gained a stellar reputation for its collaborations, working with renowned brands to put its unique spin on classic designs. Previous collaborations include reworking tracksuits in homage to American tailor Nudie Cohn with Juicy Couture, and presenting contemporary rugby-inspired fits with Umbro.

The Aries x ROA Hiking collaboration combines the best elements of both brands. The classic hiking boot silhouette from ROA is given a new twist with an asymmetrical toe construction, enhanced with reflective taping, 3MM accents, and Aries' distinctive flecked climbing cord. The collaborative boots are available in two colorways: all-black and zebra "Pony" skin.

Each pair of co-branded hikers features dual-branded Aries x ROA logos on the high-top collar and incorporates ROA's signature elements, including quick-lacing external metal hooks, a pull tab heel, rubber toe cap, and a Vibram Megagrip toothed tread pattern sole.

The campaign for the Aries x ROA collaboration takes inspiration from the British obsession with the great outdoors, drawing influence from iconic British films like Mike Leigh's Nuts in May and Ben Wheatley's Sightseers. The campaign is set in Newcastle, North East England, showcasing the connection between nature and British culture.
