Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Collection

Swatch has partnered with luxury Swiss watchmaker Blancpain to create a new Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms Collection. This collaboration draws inspiration from the world's oceans and features five different models named after specific oceans. The watches are based on Blancpain's popular dive watch, the Fifty Fathoms, and are equipped with 300 meters of water resistance, easy-to-read dials, rotating bezels, and anti-magnetic protection. They are also powered by Swatch's SISTEM51 mechanical movement.

The collection showcases a Bioceramic construction, from the case and crown to the bezel and pin buckle. Each watch is accompanied by a striped NATO strap that complements the colors of the dial. With a case diameter of 42.3mm and a thickness of 14.55mm, the collection features gradient dial plates with hands, indices, and a diving scale coated in Grade A Super-LumiNova®.

The caseback of each watch features full-color digital prints of unique Nudibranchs, which are soft-bodied marine gastropod mollusks. The color palette of each model is inspired by the natural hues of its corresponding Nudibranch. For example, the ARCTIC OCEAN watch features a beige and orange look inspired by the Dendronotus Frondosus, while the PACIFIC OCEAN watch includes a high-contrast yellow and black color scheme referencing the Chromodoris Kuiteri.

The ATLANTIC OCEAN model showcases a blue and dark blue colorway inspired by the Glaucus Atlanticus or Blue Dragon. The INDIAN OCEAN timepiece combines green and black with orange accents to recreate the appearance of the Nembrotha Kubaryana. Finally, the ANTARTIC OCEAN watch incorporates white and gray hues reminiscent of the Tritoniella Belli and captures the region's icy allure.

The Blancpain x Swatch Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collection will retail for approximately $400 USD and will not be a limited release. It will be available in select stores worldwide starting September 9. For more information on where to purchase, visit Swatch's official website.
