Air Jordan 4028 "Rui Hachimura" Sneakers

Jordan Brand is celebrating Rui Hachimura's heritage with a new player-exclusive sneaker. Instead of loud colors, the Lakers star's version of the experimental Air Jordan 4028 focuses on details and Japanese culture.

The model combines the base of the Air Jordan 40 with the tall, zippered cover from the Air Jordan 28. Rui Hachimura replaced the standard cover with textured navy denim featuring sashiko stitching in a circular pattern.

Underneath the denim, the shoe is built for performance. It sits on an Air Jordan 40 midsole with responsive Zoom cushioning and a translucent sole for grip, while a glossy navy piece adds structure around the bottom. Branding is kept simple, featuring a Nike Air logo on the heel, a silver Jumpman on the side, and Rui's signature on the insole.

The Air Jordan 4028 "Rui Hachimura" sneaker is expected to release in Summer 2026 via Nike SNKRS and at select retailers for $205 USD.
