Australia-based retailer Up There has partnered with ASICS for the third consecutive year to release a new collaborative sneaker, the ASICS GEL-Terrain.
The sneaker draws inspiration from the Australian bush and features a color palette of faded mauve, lavender, and grey, with accents of bright acid yellow and hot red, inspired by the autumn hues of the region. The design incorporates a hiking aesthetic with the addition of a carabiner on the laces.
The ASICS GEL-Terrain is known for its streamlined and aerodynamic appeal, incorporating a no-sew construction. Influences from the ASICS GEL-Fujitrabuco and ASICS GT-2000 models are evident in the design, contributing to the shoe's popularity since its debut last fall.
The Up There x ASICS GEL-Terrain sneaker is scheduled for a global release on July 6 via ASICS and Up There for $180 USD.
