Taylor Lee x Avant Arte "Strong Women" Ceramic Sculptures

Korean-American artist Taylor Lee has partnered with Avant Arte to unveil a captivating series of ceramic sculptures. Following her recent participation in Hypeart's Love Letters to LA charity exhibition, Lee introduces two new characters as part of her ongoing Strong Women series. Additionally, she presents a new figure named Tubie, depicting a woman reclining on a water float.

While Lee is recognized for her recreations of beloved Japanese pop culture icons like Gundam and Godzilla, she has developed a distinct artistic style. Through her work, she skillfully exaggerates the female form to challenge societal stereotypes, while joyfully celebrating "female strength and resilience, showcasing the power of overcoming challenges," as explained by the artist. Each sculpture undergoes a meticulous Raku firing process, resulting in a unique and exceptional artwork.

The Beach Ball Strong Woman and Happy Face Strong Woman sculptures are both one-of-a-kind editions, each standing out with its individual charm. On the other hand, the Tubie Series offers multiple variations for enthusiasts to choose from. Mark your calendars as these remarkable sculptures will be available for purchase on Monday, November 13. The Beach Ball Strong Woman is priced at $1,290 USD, the Happy Face Strong Woman at $1,398 USD, and the Tubie at $968 USD.
