Breguet Classique Tourbillon 3358 Watch Collection

Swiss luxury watchmaker Breguet is expanding its Classique Tourbillon collection with the introduction of two new models: the 3358BB/VD/986D0 and the 3358BR/8D/986D0. These timepieces are designed to uphold the brand's legacy of innovation, which was established by its founder, Abraham-Louis Breguet, who invented the tourbillon mechanism to improve timekeeping precision by counteracting the effects of gravity.

The white gold model, known as "Starlit Night" (3358BB/VD/986D0), features a midnight blue mother-of-pearl dial that creates a celestial ambiance. The watch face is adorned with a cascade of diamonds, and gold stars of varying textures, some of which are crowned with a diamond, adding a three-dimensional aspect to the design. The dial showcases an off-centred chapter ring at 12 o'clock with Arabic numerals and rhodium-plated gold Breguet hands. At 6 o'clock, there is a polished, curved aperture that unveils the tourbillon, which is crowned with a shooting star-shaped bar set with 45 snow-set diamonds and a blue spinel at its center. The sapphire case back allows a view of the movement, highlighting the hand-engraved baseplate with Breguet's name and the unique movement reference number.

The rose gold model, named "Stunning Sight" (3358BR/8D/986D0), features a dial embellished with 281 diamonds, forming curves between 3 and 9 o'clock. The chapter ring at 12 o'clock is made of natural white mother-of-pearl and complements the Arabic numerals and hands. The tourbillon is positioned within a polished oval-shaped aperture and is framed by a rounded gold bar set with 14 diamonds.

Both models are housed in a 35 mm case with water resistance up to 30 meters. They are powered by the hand-wound 187 D movement, which provides a 50-hour power reserve. The watches' calibre operates at a frequency of 2.5 Hz and is complemented by a steel Breguet balance spring. Each watch comes with a glossy alligator leather strap, with the Starlit Night model featuring a midnight blue strap and the Stunning Sight model featuring a crimson red strap.

The Starlit Night and Stunning Sight models are priced at $136,376 USD and $146,114 USD, respectively. They are available for purchase through appointment only via Breguet's website.
