JJJJound x New Balance 2002R "Storm Blue" Sneakers

JJJJound and New Balance have proven their successful collaboration track record with a series of footwear projects in recent years. Known for their tasteful color arrangements, the two brands have reimagined popular models like the 990v3 and 991. Now, they are gearing up to release a collaborative version of the 2002R for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.

In a preview shared by JJJJound, details of the collaboration on the New Balance 2002R are revealed, including the materials used, color distribution, and co-branding. The shoe showcases various shades of blue, complemented by black "N" branding on each side, off-white laces, and a gray synthetic base. The tongue features simple "JJJJound" text, while the upper combines suede and leather overlays. The design is completed with a white and off-white N-Ergy-backed sole unit, sitting atop a black rubber outsole.

The upcoming collaboration between JJJJound and New Balance presents the 2002R in a serene "Storm Blue" colorway, inspired by the gloomy weather associated with the fall and winter seasons. The release is scheduled for October 26 at 12pm EDT, exclusively through JJJJound, with a retail price of $170 USD.
