The new collection pays tribute to the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace , featuring beloved characters like Darth Maul, Padmé Amidala, Jar Jar Binks, C-3PO, and Anakin Skywalker's Podracer. The collaborative collection explores the cultural exchange between generations in both streetwear and the Star Wars universe. Just days after the surprise drop of his album GNX , Kendrick Lamar has unveiled the visuals for the second track, “squabble up”. The song features a bouncy beat produced by Jack Antonoff , Sounwave , Scott Bridgeway , and MTech that samples Debbie Deb . The Calmatic -directed music video takes place in a mysterious green room adorned with a lone crystal chandelier. As the song plays, Kendrick performs at the center of a rotating backdrop filled with humorous vignettes, including mosh pits, street fights, exaggerated poses, and even a candle-lit vigil.
