Batiik Studio , a Paris-based interior architecture and design agency, has launched their first furniture collection called "Dans le sillage de Nérée" during Paris Design Week . The collection draws inspiration from seashells and other beachside treasures, paying homage to the Mediterranean shores and the summer season. Each piece in the collection showcases a fusion of textures, finishes, and materials, resulting in a harmonious yet eclectic aesthetic. The Calypso modular sofa exudes warmth with its color palette, while the Agavé bookshelf features a velvety build complemented by wooden elements. The Néritès mirror is made from sculpted ceramic with a straw-like frame, and the Galatée table boasts a pink enamel tabletop engraved with wobbly lines reminiscent of seashells. It is supported by two cherry wood legs with sculptural and globular forms. The collection is currently on display at the Élitis showroom in Paris until October 31, 2023.
