Nicole McLaughlin x Merrell 1TRL "Moc-Laughlin" Sneakers

Designer Nicole McLaughlin has become a prominent figure in the world of sneaker collaborations, thanks to her unique approach that combines upcycling, vintage, thrift, and gorp. Since 2020, she has collaborated with several brands including Crocs, Reebok, Diemme, Vans, HOKA , and now she is bringing her distinctive perspective to Merrell 1TRL . McLaughlin's collaboration with Merrell 1TRL involves creating three colorways of a slip-on silhouette known as the "Moc-Laughlin." The inspiration for this design comes from McLaughlin's childhood, as her father was a devoted fan of the Jungle Moc. Additionally, her own fascination with discovering vintage Merrell's at thrift stores and on eBay played a role in shaping the collaboration.
