Beijing-based architectural firm MAD has recently unveiled its innovative design for the renovation of an old warehouse located on the south side of the Shanghai Zhangjiang Cement Factory. This particular site was once home to one of the largest cement factories during the city's peak of urban construction. The ambitious project aims to transform the area into a multifunctional public space that seamlessly integrates nature, commerce, and culture.
