Dingyun Zhang returns with two new reimagined Samba sneakers, marking his second collaboration with adidas . Following the "Core Black" debut, the new sneakers embrace fall-ready palettes and textures. The "White Vapour" colorway features an allover white suede upper, enhanced by a padded heel and tongue for a subtle tonal contrast. The "Oxidized Brown/Solar Red" variant features a warm brown upper paired with a gum sole and light gray sockliner and pronounced heel collar. Co-branded tongue and laces in "Solar Red" complete the look. The Dingyun Zhang x adidas Samba sneakers are set to drop on October 18 via adidas , Dingyun Zhang , and select retailers for $250 USD.

Dingyun Zhang is expanding his collaboration with adidas Originals by introducing the Kouza, a new sneaker that features his forward-thinking blend of form and function. Dingyun Zhang describes his design philosophy, stating, "I'm obsessed with the idea of transformation, and how nothing is as it seems." He continues saying "the adidas Kouza embodies the oscillation between form and function while retaining elegance and style." The shoe marks Dingyun Zhang's first original model with adidas, following his reinterpretation of the Samba. The Kouza draws inspiration from the 2008 Beijing Olympics Boxing Boot, featuring ventilated netting underlays and a mid silhouette with a prominent sole and exaggerated arch. Reflecting the designer's playful approach to proportions, the sneaker includes an oversized heel counter that extends over the pull tab.
