Kyrie Irving x ANTA Kai 1 "Artist on Court" Sneakers

After taking the court in his first signature shoe earlier this month, NBA star Kyrie Irving has officially unveiled the ANTA Kai 1 in collaboration with ANTA's footwear design director, Jared Subawon. 

The shoes are distinguished by their unique purple hue complemented by pink and green accents and a cream sole. The collaboration with ANTA marks a significant comeback for Kyrie Irving in the sneaker industry, following his controversial departure from Nike.

The ANTA Kai 1 sneaker blends modern performance with heritage, featuring an aerodynamic shape supported by a carbon fiber midfoot plate, responsive midsole cushioning, and a TPU sidewall at the lateral. The debut colorway carries hieroglyphic-inspired detailing, tapping into themes of inspiration and encouragement. The color arrangement integrates Native beliefs, symbolizing the four directions and the psychological and physical impacts of colors on the body and mind.

The ANTA Kai 1 "Artist on Court" sneaker is set to hit the market on March 6 via ANTA and select retailers for $125 USD.
