Self produced by the Billboard-charting producer, “Therapy Session” marks Vidal's first rap feature since collaborating with Matty Boy on the 2021 single “ Northern California ”. Speaking with us about the new release, Matty Boy shared, "I’m extremely excited about the new song with my brother, my dog in real life Vidal Garcia. The homie has helped me and my music in so many ways. Going to the studio has been like therapy for me so it’s only right we name the song “Therapy Session”." Los Angeles-based streetwear mainstay The Hundreds is set to release their third collaboration with Star Wars tomorrow. The new collection pays tribute to the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace , featuring beloved characters like Darth Maul, Padmé Amidala, Jar Jar Binks, C-3PO, and Anakin Skywalker's Podracer. The collaborative collection explores the cultural exchange between generations in both streetwear and the Star Wars universe. Just days after the surprise drop of his album GNX , Kendrick Lamar has unveiled the visuals for the second track, “squabble up”. The song features a bouncy beat produced by Jack Antonoff , Sounwave , Scott Bridgeway , and MTech that samples Debbie Deb . The Calmatic -directed music video takes place in a mysterious green room adorned with a lone crystal chandelier. As the song plays, Kendrick performs at the center of a rotating backdrop filled with humorous vignettes, including mosh pits, street fights, exaggerated poses, and even a candle-lit vigil. Among the various props, a standout moment features Kendrick holding a book titled “How to Be More Like Kendrick for Dummies,” which hints at a playful jab at another rapper. Enjoy!
