Piaget Lunar New Year Collection

Piaget, the renowned Swiss watchmaker and jeweler, has unveiled a captivating new collection in honor of the Lunar New Year, which marks the beginning of a fresh 12-year cycle in the Chinese Zodiac. This collection pays homage to the Dragon and Phoenix, iconic symbols representing masculinity and femininity, strength and power, hope and rebirth, as well as embodying harmony and balance.

At the heart of this collection are the Altiplano and Emperador models, meticulously crafted with exceptional attention to detail and artistry. Master enameler Anita Porchet has skillfully created two exquisite 38mm Altiplano Zodiac references. These timepieces, limited to only 38 pieces each, feature either a vivid blue Dragon or a Phoenix adorned with vibrant red, pink, and orange hues. These mythical creatures are beautifully set against a dial made of white and grey mother of pearl. The use of cloisonné enameling and gold engraving brings these creatures to life, adding an element of enchantment to the watches.

The High Jewellery segment of the collection includes a 41mm Altiplano watch, where a gold-engraved Dragon holds a mesmerizing black opal with red lacquered eyes. This remarkable piece, limited to eight numbered editions, showcases Piaget's 830P Manufacture ultra-thin, hand-wound mechanical movement. The Dragon motif also graces a Piaget Emperador watch, featuring a flying tourbillon and a design enriched with snow-set sapphires and diamonds, reminiscent of a starry sky.

Adding a touch of femininity to the collection are two Phoenix High Jewellery watches. One model dazzles with a stunning array of marquise and brilliant-cut diamonds, while the other combines the allure of rubies and white gold. Both models, limited to just eight pieces each, exhibit Piaget's expertise in gold engraving, showcasing the brand's commitment to elegance and craftsmanship.

For the first time, the collection includes High Jewelry creations such as a Dragon brooch, a ring, and Phoenix earcuffs. Among these standout pieces is a Dragon ring featuring a captivating 4.02ct cushion-cut Mozambique ruby, as well as a Dragon brooch adorned with yellow sapphire, spessartite, and spinel. The earcuffs, available in diamond and rose gold or ruby and white gold, reflect Piaget's signature style of asymmetry and flamboyance.

Completing the collection are two made-to-order High Jewellery cuff watches. The Dragon cuff watch combines the timeless elegance of onyx with a variety of diamond cuts and a striking black opal cabochon, while the Phoenix cuff watch showcases a captivating rubellite cabochon adorned with pink rubies, sapphires, and cobalt spinels.
