Timex x The Met Watch Collection

Timex has unveiled an exciting collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, bringing some of the institution's most revered artworks to life in the form of wearable and expressive timepieces. This unique collection allows art enthusiasts and watch aficionados alike to carry a piece of art history on their wrists.

The collection features two variations of Timex's Modern Easy Reader, a timepiece renowned for its clear and legible dial and straightforward functionality. The first iteration showcases Gustav Klimt's mesmerizing portrait of Mäda Primavesi from 1912-13. The artwork adorns the dial and gracefully extends onto the watch's leather strap, elegantly complemented by a sophisticated silver-toned case. The second watch in the collection features Vincent Van Gogh's iconic self-portrait, captivating viewers in a similar manner.

Moving forward, Timex's T80 timepiece, known for its digital operation, proudly displays Utagawa Hiroshige's Maples at Mama woodblock print from 1857. The intricate design envelops the watch's screen and commands attention with its presence on the resin strap. Completing the collection, a second T80 watch is adorned with Katsushika Hokusai's renowned woodblock print, Under the Wave off Kanagawa. Crafted between 1830-32, this masterpiece, also known as The Great Wave, is part of Hokusai's celebrated Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series.
