Story mfg. Third R.T.S Collection

Eco-conscious fashion brand Story mfg. has consistently prioritized sustainability and ethical practices in its design process. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Saeed and Katy Al-Rubeyi in 2013, the label has recently unveiled the third edition of its R.T.S (formerly known as "Roots") collection, featuring an array of sustainable clothing and accessories.

The collection showcases a variety of knitted sweaters, button-up shirts with multi-toned designs, and simple crossbody totes. Emphasizing their commitment to eco-friendly practices, Story mfg. states that these garments are meticulously crafted using natural dyes derived from leaves, fruit, roots, bark, and micro-organisms, resulting in a range of purely organic hues without any artificial additives.

To achieve this, natural indigo, Pathimugam, Karuvelam Patthai, and Kaduak were employed to create a captivating color palette including shades of black, brown, blue, and pink. Notable pieces from the collection include the Greetings Shirt, featuring a slightly cropped, wide shape reminiscent of retro bowling shirts, and the Furrow Jumper, meticulously hand-knitted using 100% organic cotton yarn.
